Best Indie Bookstores in America
If you’ve ever wanted to visit the States with a literary focus, Conde Nast Traveler In celebration of National Independent Bookstore Day, a list of 20 favorite bookstores across the country was compiled. I immediately looked up my current home state of North Carolina and learned of a bookstore I had not heard of (I’m still new here), called Duck Cottage in Duck, North Carolina. Will definitely visit next time I’m in the Outer Banks. The Last Bookstore in my “hometown” Los Angeles also made the list. Let me second say that this place is amazing worth checking out, but be prepared to deal with Downtown LA’s less than fun parking situation. Find your nearest independent bookstore Highlight the list and add more distant ones to your bookish destination itinerary. The stores also include reading recommendations.

Oprah moves to Wondery
Wondery now has exclusive distribution and advertising rights oprah podcastwhich is increasing to two episodes each week, according to hollywood reporter. Amazon Podcast Studios has also acquired the rights to Oprah’s Book Club and The Oprah Winfrey Show Library. in this summer, oprah podcast It will be available on Amazon-affiliated platforms, including Amazon Prime Video and Audible, and Wondery may choose to integrate Oprah’s Book Club and Oprah’s Favorite Things into Amazon.
Best Books of April, BIPOC Edition
