i love you don’t die by Jade Song
This is the story of a new kind of era. One that dips into the reality of Sally Rooney and the strangeness of Ottessa Moshfegh. Vicky is our main girl, whose obsession with death has taken her from living above a NYC Chinatown funeral parlor to working at a start-up for specialized urns. She is well aware of the transience of all things, which is probably why she has difficulty connecting with people other than her only friend, Jane. But then she shakes the table: A dating app romance ends with her hooking up with a group that includes an artist and a labor organizer. She really likes the dynamic she gets from it, but doubts still quickly creep in.

a girl like her by Talia Hibbert
If Talia Hibbert isn’t a fan, I’m dead. Seriously, his Brown Sisters trilogy is as soul-strengthening as it is steamy, and this latest promises the same. In it, we have Ruth Kaba, who is autistic, stupid, a little bit annoying, and a bit of an outcast in her small town. Then confident Evan Miller comes to town, becomes Ruth’s neighbor, and she thinks he might just be like her. But she’s been hurt before, and she doesn’t know if it’ll be different this time.
