If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that queer romance stories are charming in any form. So, it’s no surprise that there are many excellent queer romance graphic novels and manga for adults out there. If you’re looking for older people looking for love in graphic form, there’s plenty out there for every kind of reader.

For this list, I’m only sharing a few quirky adult romance graphic novels and manga, but there is a treasure trove of excellent quirky Korean manhwa and Chinese manhwa out there for interested parties. From BL (Boys Love) To GL (Girls Love)Weird manga, manhwaAnd manhua feature a range of bizarre relationships and characters in almost everything. Some even push the boundaries of style. Manga like ‘I Want to Be a Wall’ by Honami Shirono, exploring the strangely ideal relationship and marriage between a gay man and a talented woman, finding a way to build a home together. While this isn’t quite a romance, I would recommend it as an honorable mention for queer graphic romance readers.
